still remember those days when times fm and air fm used to rule the airwaves....the other radio channels at the initials started up only by playing music, the programmes came , but it had no space for script..i still remember i used to be a big fan of roshan abbas's live wire and shamshir rai luthra's 10 sae 11.....yuri shandy supradeep,meenakshi rani, pooja anand...dont know how and where have they vanished.is it becoz the fast pacy script has taken over the rj loyalty? must be admit ,these fast pacy scripts have not given us programme loyality...

talking about my favourite meow fm, the concept sounded pretty interesting...interactive radio,womens channel....men will automatically get hooked on....when implemented it sounded a bit bookish, i think anil has taken all the burden on himself,not only is he the COO,but also has to host the shows in the evening...the shows that he does are no doubt quite popular,and he gives in everything,but can one radio host and one programme single handedly make the whole channel popular...the rest of the hosts have failed to create an impact on the audiences...the sports prog or the radio cricket has failed miserabally, and so has the kiran bedi show and the rest educational programmes...it sounds as a mere PR activity...no one even thinks as to why a person wud listen to these types of programmes....rochie and ginnie have tried to do something new..at the conceptual level,it has worked for them too, but then ginnie's hindi is pathetic and the punjabi gives a very local touch...and at times...one host sometimes has to do programmes which might extend to three hours continously, and lol...many a times they are not in time in the studious....the channel has no programmes on sundays,and if i recall saturday too....the promos used in the programmes also lack the creative notch which is very much there in the other channels....a very small community radio, the advertisers are having a run for their money....the kairaili massage coupons have been hampering the image of the channel too... The programming head needs to pick up a couple of women's magazine..see what sells ,and then probably introduce a lot of content based programmes...a lot of work needs to be done on the radio production side too...will Koel puri (the rahul gandhi of the tv today group) take over ....well the rumours and the heat is on! all the best koel...dont know why denzil gives a b grade performance when it comes to radio....he is half asleep most of the times....sorry bro...
meanwhile ghanta singh and khurafati nitin are doing quite well with their pranks...though many a times they do forget the ethical values of the game....fever has definetly made a mark with its selection of songs, the outdoor campaign done to increase the reach with its audience was commendable....surprisingly after mirchee, air fm rainbow rules the trp"s chart.....the campus contests by radio one ,)))) kabir was successful....it did involve the studentsat the campus ,and the raat kae musafir ,where bytes of people at the jnu dhabas were heard was amazing.......man do i listen to other fm channels??oh i am missing out my t20 match on tv , and thank god the multiplex has some good releases coming up....pray to god that imtiaz ali delevers another hit!!!and miles to go before i sleep...coz when other went miles i was busy sleeping....CHEERS! ALL THE PEOPLE WHO LUV E N HATE ME ,I LUV U ALL.....
